exchange

I have written several times but haven't received a response.  I purchased 2 sweatshirts for my granddaughter for her birthday.  She has very sensitive skin and the sweats needed to be washed before she wore them.  She has several other Coldculture sweats in size small and wears them constantly.  When we washed the new ones, there was noticeable shrinkage.  They were not put in the dryer.  Though they have been washed, I would appreciate it if they can be exchanged for a medium.  I understand that your return policy is strict and they have been washed but I am asking for an exception. My granddaughter is upset since I don;t have the funds to purchase new ones as I am living on a fixed income.  It would be greatly appreciated.
